This is different than what I usually post, but I can't sit here and not condemn the actions that are being taken to immigrants all over the United States right now under the current administration.
I know that my current platform isn't as large as many others but I will use my voice to the best of my ability to stand up for what is right! This hits close to home for me because the people closest to me are immigrants, and it's so painful and hard to describe the anguish that I have, fearing that a loved one may not one day return just because of the color of their skin or the status of their residency. I'm so proud of everyone out here today fighting for our rights and taking a stand when all eles can feel so hopeless.
I'm not here to argue, what you believe is what you believe. Many of our constitutional rights are being stripped away from us and even if you dont feel it now, you will feel it soon if we keep letting these agregis acts go unnoticed.
