Also I can’t remember if you’ve done a conversation about the hygiene Olympics but that seems to be a deep wound for the diaspora

Not quite a topic but a thought. The shxtandgigs drama had me thinking about how men build their fanbase on black women and don’t actually protect, think, consider them as they move up. I am not of the people watching them or other men but I wonder if something thoughtful for those women that connect with that content or even a round table self care conversation about how to replenish your energy as a black woman would do some good with all the negativity going around

Not sure if this is kind of off topic regarding discussions about femininity, but can we normalize not making women feel "dirty" when it comes to things that happen with and to our bodies. Anything from sexual trauma, to BV, yeast infections, periods and so forth. I'm not sure exactly what I'm getting at Mayowa, lol but I like that you talk about what others don't.

I just came across a video on IG where a young pretty dark-skinned Black woman from the UK 🇬🇧 is talking about how she feels that Black American men like her because of her accent and “exoticism” and that Black men where she’s from don’t date Black women 🥲And of course the Black American women in the comments are pretty much like, “…who’s gonna tell her? 🧐😕” The entire thing just made me so sad and t

I love your space. If you have an opinion- topic idea: Jamaica is not a monolith of blackness and they are struggling because of it. Recently had a hotel burn down because the owners did not want blacks there.

This may be out of your wheelhouse, but do you notice the rise of all these life coaches on social media? I am trying to wonder what the hell is going on here because they appear to be everywhere. A lot of them appear to be catering their services towards women, and rarely if ever men. 🤔

I'd please like you to address the subject of platforms monetizing their channels, degrading black women (displacement of WS violence within the black community and in particular, against black women) and advise around this (demonetization, reporting etc.). You could also talk about how much colorism costs people who suffer from it (lack of opportunities, offer of degrading roles in film, less well-paid work, imaginary beauty that relies on fakery, the rise of mediocrity linked to colorism, poverty, invisibilization and disappearance, numbers etc.). Is there a book on the cost of colorism against blacks? Thanks in advance.

…. Hmmmmm how about how we can stop as a society embracing the VICTIM title / mindset…..👀….the constant crying for approval and acceptance……oh and the constant creation of new “ISMS” to further fall into moreeee victimhood … just something I think you’d benefit from along with those who watch your content 🤷♂

There's a mixed race artist named Mahogany Lox & i wish someone would analyze the appropriation in her music & persona and artists like her and the problem with "artists" like these minimizing blackness and black culture to a performance that anyone can have access to & using it also to find themselves when they haven't actually had the black experience. It's tragic how hip hop is being misused like this, it's painful to see. Im surprised this artist specifically isn't seen clearly for the bs because it is so obvious and very cringey. You've definitely spoken on many variations of this. But bringing out more examples to help paint the entire picture more clearly I would like to see and hear from you if you are interested in speaking on this some more anytime soon
