I gotta say, the message of "You have no power over me" can apply to anyone whether they're a boy, girl, somewhere in between, 15, 18, or 80. It's a universal statement that reinforces one person's individuality from another person in power. The only person who should be in control of you, is yourself. Not anyone else.
