I would have to see the final build and cost, as well as what the tradeoffs are before deciding if it made sense for me.

It's more an issue that given the state of the world I don't get paid enough to afford an extra 30% to 50% on a table that is a luxury as it is. I think the lift is a game changer and in a world where I could afford groceries, hobbies AND a table I think the value is there.

I think using the lift would invalidate with my use of the players desks and game deck purchases. I’m sure it could replace my need for them, but I’ve already spent the money on them.

The best feature of the table is being able to put your game away without disturbing it. Some of my minis and terrain already needs to be laid over to put on the topper. It’s a cool add-on for people more into board games, but I can’t spare that lost inch.

It's a cool idea for a new table, but with a game deck it's hard to argue for a retrofit, also the vault is great because nobody loses dice anymore

Zero interest. Don't see the point. Maybe if I didn't already have the toppers. 🤷

Really comes down to final cost, look and how difficult it would be to add to the table.

Sadly a lift does not benefit me as i have a flat screen tv sunk into my mgt vault, and lifting the table would interfere with that. Certainly a cool idea though. Still saving up for a modular desk one day

Doubt it would work on my Wargaming wide, and I don’t see it getting used enough.

I bought the table for the vault. Otherwise, I could have just put a felt mat on top of the table to get the experience of the lift.

The issue starts to get into, potentially why didn’t we just buy the more expensive table from the beginning if it’s too expensive. Myself, I’d rather no mechanical parts that can break.

I would love to see a lift mech for the Hex table, or a pedestal base to remove the exterior legs for easier seating arrangements

The issue is more how much for a Canadian MTG owner in these times

Get my pup her dog bed first and then we'll talk. Lol. On all honesty, it's a cool product but at that price point it's hard to justify. I think you'll have more success bundling it with new purchases.

I haven’t kept up with wyrmlife, so idk what the tradeoffs are of installing the lift. But I would love it for my coffee table MGT. At the right price. Also what would the warranty situation e like

If it will work for the original MGT "Wargaming" size. Absolutely. We would also pick up a whole second table at that with a 2nd lift. Weve always wanted a lifting table.

If we were to launch The Modular Gaming Table Lift ($500 - $1,000) would you pick one up?
