Something stirs inside the ink. A whisper. A heartbeat. A warning.
Then stillness... You’re not sure if the sound came from the book… or from somewhere behind you.
In the dark, you feel it pressing close, unseen but real. The weight of something that shouldn’t exist. It knows your name. It waits for you to fall asleep. It's not a dream, this is the night itself… watching.
Chapter 9: iN tHE nIGHT
This chapter marked my most ambitious project for the album. My first time building an anime style music video completely from scratch. Every frame and every haunting synth was designed to pull you into a world between dreams and reality.
"iN tHE nIGHT" explores the paralyzing terror of sleep paralysis. That chilling space where you can’t move, can’t scream, yet feel something just inches away. It’s a song about fear, confusion, and the strange beauty of being trapped between consciousness and nightmare.
Through this project, I wanted to capture the moment where desire and dread intertwine. when you realize the shadow above you might not be a demon, but something drawn from within yourself.
