It’s definitely Tusk, but that shouldn’t be a knock against the others - it’s just both novel and impressive to have a well-implemented, non-humanoid fighting character. But props to the creators behind the whole roster for the mastery of expressing the personality of each fighter - not just in terms of how much personality there is, but also that the personality expressed seems extremely faithful to the source material (or, at least, fan perception of the Pokémon for those that don’t have much screen time). It’s really a big reason why I got hooked as a spectator.

I have to comment that I had to pick tusk but that its so close between Tusk and Top, I love them so much. I have to give top props here. The entire hitmon character-cluster is pure genius design and one of my favorite new ideas I have seen in a fighting game in a long time.

tusk is sick as hell even if it kinda fails to dodge the typical pitfalls of vortex character design, medi is a little frustrating but serves its purpose well, top is very fun but feels like it has the least defined weaknesses of the hitmons, and mlop i think he straight up didn't have time to give proper weaknesses

Medicham getting lowest votes is crazy I think this may be caused by the mon itself's low popularity in the larger pokemon community, however either that or people see a large command list and are scared of it
