She was born with club feet.. but that didn’t stop her achieving her dreams!
She studied hard, came to Mumbai from Kerala, found a job, bought a house in the early 80s and learnt to live on her own…
It wasn’t till age 33, she got married but she never had children of her own.
She was bold, independent and determined.
Often, she did not know how to show love or even speak with loving words, as she herself went through her own trauma… but her actions displayed that hidden love.
Her relationship with her own mother (my grandmother) was not the best but it patched up for the sake of the Lord in latter years.
I will be forever grateful to her for the willful heart to cook & communion with us every Sunday after church.
She stayed with me & my brother, for a couple of weeks when our mom was away… so many memories crowd my mind.
She was funny in her own way.. super smart & diplomatic but now when I turn back and look from a psychological lens .. I cannot overlook how much pain she carried.
We will miss you Auntie but know you are well and happy with the Lord Jesus. . . . We often are a product of the environment we grew up in.
When no one is there around you to lean on… The Lord Jesus offers His bosom for your tired head to rest..beloved.
