This is the last video of mine that did fairly well on Youtube, 8 months ago. Since then I've uploaded 48 new videos, most of them receiving mediocre views.

Youtube is not promoting "old creators" videos. I'm not talking about my age - I'm talking about the fact that I've been a YouTuber for 10+ years.

It's not just Youtube either, it's many other platforms who are wooing the new creators rather than valuing those who helped to build the platforms and make them what they are.

A bit like society these days really, who wants something that's not novel and new?

I'm grateful for all of you who have stuck with me and continue to access my content. I don't want to make it sound like any of you are unappreciated, that is certainly not the case! Nor do I want you to feel sorry for me in any way - my weaving school is thankfully doing very well and all is good on that front.

I post this as an educative point, if you're not a creator you won't know or understand and so I want to share to help not just my own channel but the many, many other others who have spent countless hours, days, weeks creating free content for Youtube ❤️
