I want a definitive reason WHY we get hiccups, not just an explanation of the mechanism

Why do we scar instead of fully replacing the tissue? Small wounds heal without a mark, but big ones have to be replaced with an entirely different type of tissue?

I grew actual people inside me. I still find it crazy. Those people are now adults, young adults and teens. The older ones are out in the world working or at college. Why doesn’t anyone think it’s bizarre?

The link between parasites in the brain and schizophrenia. Or gut biome and mental health. Truly mind blowing stuff that is likely to be game changers in terms of treatment and stigma.

That we able to cry , a salty water just floating out side our eyes because of our emotions...so weird

I have female guinea pigs, and they have periods just like us, but the messy stuff is all handled internally, as it's not exactly ideal for prey animals to bleed openly in the wild. Why don't humans have a similar 'no muss no fuss' setup? Is it to do with short vs long pregnancy duration and a different womb lining process, perhaps? PS: yes, guinea pigs get PMS, too. Complete with mood swings, drama and bickering when you have an all female herd like mine, lol.

the subjective frailty of our psyche. i work with people with diverse mental illnesses. It's just fascinating how our brain works or sometimes "doesn't" due to all sorts of interlocking circumstances

Why do humans have periods that are super messy compared to other animals? What’s the evolutionary advantage of shedding the uterine lining vs just absorbing it?

Psychological communication. Like how two people who speak completely different languages could work together and communicate without needing to translate any sorts of literal demands or objectification. Or physiological communication, like the act of improving one's mood just by smiling or with a gesture or unsaid act.

What causes a "stitch" while running and how can you prevent it? Seems to strike at random. Always been told it's from eating or drinking without adequate digestion time before you run.... yet on longer runs when you have to refuel and keep hydrated during the run, I never get a stitch 😅
