Funny I live in Canada have travelled and have relatives in the US but I would not live anywhere else but Canada. Lived worked raised a family here and though Canada has some issues on the whole it tries to be better. Its a country of immigrants, a great mosaic with the sum being better than the parts.

Along with free western countries, please include authoritarian eastern countries among places to avoid. There are some people naive enough to consider Russia, Belarus, North Korea or others without realizing the consequences.
