I think a dispenser would be neat. It should also include the randomized output and would fire out certain items like arrows instead of dropping them.

Make a smithing table where it takes enchanted books (you enchanted it in the enchanting table) and put it on a tool!

Maybe you could make a cave with mine able stuff and that's how you get the lapis for the enchantment table (though I'm not sure how to make that work )
