Look, I love Chip… But Kit’s design can be both adorable and terrifying, depending on the lighting and mood. I mean, just look at any comic panel where his face is obscured with nothing but his eyes being present. Chip on the other hand, really only has one default : adorable. They’re both really good, but I gotta give points to Kit for being more adaptable

From a purely design perspective, I think Kit conveys more about his personality and possibly his powerset than Chip. Chip can't really get past "this is a cute mascot."

This was…. AMAZING I really loved it! Chip of course. Kitsunami seems taken of one of the lamest Terios/Shadow prototype sketches (there is one where he has hair over his face just like Kitsunami) and that design was obviously not approved. Chip is very cute, despite being a dog, I like him.

Both candidates are really well designed, but I'm going to have to give this one to Kitsunami since he has a lot going for him as a character, Chip has his moments, but I just prefer Kit over Light Gaia.
