I was really critical of the game and pessimistic by the hype. It felt forced and harboring external motives. But I can’t deny the reception and if the game really is that good I’ll be delighted to further expand my collection. I’ll be butthurt if in the end my personal experience is lukewarm and it turned out to just be blind turn based stan hype afterall, but assuming it’s not I gladly will state I was proven wrong

My biggest issue is I've been dying to play this AND the One Hundred Line: Last Defense Acadamy (from the maker of the Zero Escape and Danganronpa franchises) both came out today. I mean I bought both to support them but which to play first!

I like action, and I like turn based. Final fantasy doesn't need to be turned based to being fun. I like that this dev is changing turn based to make you think. It challenges timing and focus. Bashing one side or other is stupid. I want a final fantasy game to play similar to kingdom hearts. I think that would be better feeling than even final fantasy 7 remake. We should appreciate instead of push new ways to play games.
