It’s been 10years since you haven’t been here and after what happened this year with my Mother In Law it feels as if I’m right back at square one.. yet and still. I want to wish you a fantastic Father’s Day. If I had known that this photo was the last time I’d see you again. I promise I would’ve visited more… sometimes I wish I did. But I’m glad we spent time together before everything happened. I know you’re not truly gone, it just hurts not having you around to talk to. Ask questions as I myself am going to give this being a father a try. I’m not scared.. just more of not wanting to let my future child down. Or you down.. but I know that being hard on myself isn’t going to make the situation better.. I just pray that I’m even half of a great father as you were despite all of our faults, because nobody is perfect. I would never in a million years have wanted or could’ve asked for a better dad than you.
