How do you generally find new music?

@nii.1480

I just listen to the type of music I like on YouTube and see where the algorithm takes me, sometimes I find some gems.

NTS radio. Amazing backlog of mixes spanning every genre. If you search a song you like you can find mixes that match the vibe with a bunch of stuff you’d never find otherwise.

Any music that appears on my feed goes to my watch later playlist, then like once every month or two I go and listen to them and if I like them I add them to my playlist

Lol, I used to never pay attention to what YT recommended me, but after it pestered me with a couple songs for literal months, I finally listened to some of them and they were all amazing. I guess sometimes YT does know your style.

I have a mix of Pandora, recommendations on YT, snippets from reels on FB, and sometimes the radio.

@invadersickness

They'll randomly pop up on my YT home page or recommendations. Sometimes on the radio depending on the station I'm listening to.

@InfernalisVentros

I usually try to find songs that really have a feeling to them, usually in the category of giving me a adrenaline rush feeling or something that hits the mood.

I ask my friends for their play lists or just explore. It's almost like a wiki walk, but with music. :)

I mostly find music based off of things I heard when I was younger, like songs my brother played as well as my mom and dad. Other than that, I find music by trying to listen to songs I used to not like or songs that seem interesting. I also find songs by forgetting to turn my own music off and it just auto plays.

I go to mainly Thizzler or whatever it is. That's usually my type of music but don't get me wrong....love me some "New Year's Day" so mainly just YouTube honestly...

@SumNormy

I use Youtube Music for most of my listening. You get allot of unheard gems from every genre that you can't find on Spotify for the most part. Plus access to great covers, Music Vids, Demos, and other forms of lost musical Content
