Elewys of Finchingefeld

I have been working on a couple different videos recently but ran into a major computer issue...the motherboard! It may take some time to repair. Sigh. Meanwhile any weavers in SE Wisconsin want to weave in a park somewhere? I'll be here for a couple weeks!

@nevans4139

I just discovered your channel and have woven an my first Osberg band in one day! Back again, I see that you have not been posting videos for long while now. I have watched several of your videos already and they are entertaining, funny and so very packed with information. You are such a warm and wonderful teacher. Thank you for all the videos you have already made and I sincerely hope you are well and happy.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge! You helped me get back into weaving and regain skills lost to lack of use. Before I rediscovered my local SCA group, I was playing your videos while I wove just for the "company". I hope you and your family are well, and that you know this community loves and misses you, and that we'll be happy to "see" you whenever you are able, or if you aren't able.

Hello Elowys, I'm from Australia and have been watching your channel and been inspired to do tablet weaving for some time. I finally got around to ordering my Inkle loom and tablets. I can't wait to watch your beginners' videos and learn tablet weaving from you. Thank you so much for sharing your skills and knowledge of the history of the patterns (something I'm also passionate about). You are amazing and beautiful inside and out.

Miss you, friend! Hope you are doing well. My hubby is really good at computer repairs if you are still needing that motherboard fixed. Be kind to yourself!

I live in Madison and commute to Milwaukee a couple times a week and I'd love a meet up of some sort! I need a good excuse to get a new warp put together 😁

@littleravenfiberarts

Does it count if I'm not (yet) a weaver? I'm a crocheter/knitter and raring to add weaving to my fiber arts repertoire 🧶 I'm in the Kenosha/Racine area

Hello Elewys! I am new to tablet weaving and was wondering if you would consider doing a video about Sulawesi Tablet Weaving? I have been reading other sites and find the tablet threading confusing as most of the patterns are hand drawn with no further explanation as to what color goes where.
