Reincarnation modern au idea- Hunter: So…Just curious but who’s the dad? Arti: No one is. Hunter: That doesn’t make any sense… Arti: Yeah I was confused to. I just woke up feeling sick one day and noticed the baby bump. Arti: Gourmand soon found me about 4 months later and offered to let me move in with him after seeing the uhh…living situation I was in order to have a safe place to raise my child. Hunter: That’s Gourmand for yah. He’s the definition of a gentle giant and has a heart of gold. Arti: Yeah…And I’m grateful for it. For a long while he was one of the few slugcat’s I trusted…Even if he did associated himself with those damn pearl rats… Hunter: So…What was it like raising Pupples? Arti: Well it hurt like sh%t when he came into the world I’ll give you that. Also weirdly enough he had this look in his eye’s like he’d seen me from somewhere DESPITE LITERALLY JUST BEING BORN THIRTY SECONDS AGO. Arti: He was really stubborn to. I legit had to fight with him just get him to take a bath. He usually calmed down after being fed and/or falling asleep. Arti: These days ever since he was six he’d wander off and just find a spot to sit around and sulk alone…I really don’t know what’s wrong with him to be honest…I’ve tried talking with him but he never opens up about it and just tries to find another place to hide… Hunter: You know after seeing the kiddo a few times he does remind me of someone…But I’m not sure who exactly? Meanwhile- Pupples: …First my chamber is destroyed by a storm…Then I wake up as a powerless spawn of that…THING…WHY ME?! Looks at Arti. Pupples: …Why can’t mom just-Covers mouth. Why did I say that?! She’s not my- Monk: I mean she did give birth to you. So she is your biological mother. Pupples: You don’t understand! I lost everything in a past life! Monk: …Maybe you’d be happier if you stopped rambling about all this. No offense but what’s the point of being over this whole past life nonsense if reincarnation is a thing? Arti: There there…I’m here for you…Now then…Gourmand is inviting us over for dinner so let’s not keep him waiting.
