Dear Miss Ross, I want to thank you for being that consistent beautiful bright shining star who to me and many, many others it’s possible to dream big. I was a 9 year old black boy living in the projects in Baltimore. And although my single mother did her best. I was being bullied at school and didn’t have any encouragement to succeed. it wasn’t until I saw you and heard you’re soul ringing though that beautiful voice. Did I know it was possible. I have loved your work for many, many years and have been always extremely proud of you. So in ending, Thank you 🙏

I can't wait to buy Miss Ross's new album. I have been a fan for over 20 years. None of her albums fail to disappoint. I am a proud owner of all of Diana's album except this one (which I will buy soon). I really hope that she makes MORE albums. It is highly unlikely that Diana would read this comment but on a slim chance that she does , I want to say, "I LOVE YOU "Je t'aime Diana :)

There have been a few iconic black female singers that were poised and classy. Three that come to mind are Lena Horn, Diahann Carroll, and Sarah Vaughn. My late mothers favorites. Diana Ross ranks right up there with these iconic black, poised women. Perhaps even more, because Diana Ross has an expanded fan base, of past and present generations. Diana is 77 years old. Go Girl, you did well in life.

I've listened to your album a few times now and I have to say that it's a "gentle genius" I love how you've embraced inhabited and embodied a freshness and bloom into new music like sweet familiar apple pie 🥧 It's secret recipe is and always was never actually a secret!!! But like all loving mother's /grandmother's/ and glorious great grandmother's apple pies it can never be quite replicated by anyone else.Your wisdom is unfettered by "masculine" weightiness ,profundity, and the inevitable "navel gazing" that preoccupied patriarchs feel is the essential product of a long life In contrast you embody (apparently effortlessly) a lightness and innocent/novel openess to your lived years which you then turn around to the world of humanity with frank familiar songs which sooth uplift and nudge ( like all the best loving Grandmas) us into the perspective of an artist who's unpretentious lack of ego gently introduces the listener into thinking about other"loves"; "friendship" "fellowship" "creativity" "movement""music" "dance" "natural environments" and "human environments"and the unspoken symbiosis between both.The album is "torch song free,"anguished love free" "you're the one for the rest of my life free" It's sexiness of self is aligned with the joy of being alive while dancing to the upbeat infectious tracks(🌟If the World Just Danced 🌟I Still Believe 🌟✌️💕🦋) and still allowing for tenderness some wonder, catch you/ me off guard emotions ,especially the gorgeous love song ;" Beautiful ❤️ Love" to me a perfect expression of your Mother's Love feelings. The virtue which you truly communicate is "Simplicity" And that isn't easy for any artist.( I'm thinking about my late Mom's Apple Tart again!!💓) Your voice is full of verve unashamed tenderness vulnerability I love when I hear the sweet crinkles that appear in your warmer lower embracing tones ( "Time to Call" I hope, for you is a vocal to be so proud of cos it's you as pure as you are at this time in your life) " Swansongs" have never been so Refreshing .P.S I'm only using the term "Swansongs" to underline the sweet "paradox" of the life affirming qualities that come with wisdom experience and age.In "Thank You" you've captured that essence and never once allowed it be dilu
