Thank you, Patty. I'm a veteran. 22 of my fellow service members take their own lives every day, over 8,000 per year. For the last 20 years, we lose more veterans to suicide than combat.

Thank you, Patty. Not gonna lie, it crosses my mind fairly often. Since the pandemic, I've had to work out of state for work, I miss my children each night. Both my father in law and brother in law have died, I've survived two near misses, the last of which covered about 25% of me in 2nd degree burns. Worst and most difficult thing I've ever endured. Probably no one cares, but all I mean to say is it's extraordinarily difficult and yet here I stand. A bit burnt up but I'm standing and when I think about "clocking out early" I remember that nothing has taken me out yet and if I give up now all of that fight I had in the midst of the pain and the suffering and the things that hurt too much to post on here will be for nothing. That's my message to anyone reading this. You're so strong to still be here in spite of the things that have tried to break you and take you down. Don't give up! I won't either!

Thank you for helping to raise awareness of mental health issues. It's been an issue for several family members. Before my accident, I worked for a state agency. The department wasn't large (about 2,000 people on a good day). The profession could be hard; we averaged one staff suicide per year. The loss still hurts. If you are struggling, please reach out for help. There are many people who want to help, but we can't help if we don't know.

At one time, i was one of these people. I suffered abuse as a child, and had alot of other things going including drug use, alcoholism, gangs, and juvenile detention. It all stemmed from the abuse i had to deal with. Today i am 6 years sober from alcohol, and 10 years sober from drugs. I got therapy for the abuse, and all the other things too. I am a single father and I have 3 beautiful children, a beautiful home, and a good career where i make 6 figures. Your music makes a tear come to my eyes, because i am so proud of my Celtic heritage, and finding out who my ancestors are, and following in their footsteps has helped me heal so much from my past. Thank you for being a part of that Patty. Your amazing, and your music hits me deeply. You are an Angel, and my kids love your music too. 🪢🪢. Cant wait to hear mor

I have to admit, the thought still enters my mind from time to time. My cognitive clarity is impaired from chronic illness, and life feels null; there is only pain and the faintest hint of who I used to be. But this has given me a greater appreciation for the life I'm missing, and a burning need to experience it once again before it's my time - and also to show others the sheer depth they're missing in life. Magic mushrooms in particular were the tool that revealed what was underneath my thoughts, and this perspective gave me the strength to carry on in the toughest of times. I would highly recommend them to most people. (Avoid if you're on antidepressants or if you have psychosis. Do your research ahead of time.)

I'm very happy to see you talking about this. I've struggled with me mental health for years and am just now getting back to normal after a breakdown last Christmas. Many of my family members and friends also have mental health problems, ranging from mild to very severe. Seeing a musician I'm a fan of promote this means a lot to me. Mental illness is just beginning to be talked about, and the more it is, the more people will be able to get help.

It’s nice to know that if you have these dark thoughts or have been impacted by suicide in some way that you are not alone. Those numbers are definitely too high. I know it’s hard but we have to be strong, we all have a purpose here. 😊❤

Lovely photo Patty! And you have an even lovelier heart! Thank you for bringing this issue to light. There are so many people out there who want and need help for these kinds of traumas. But are too afraid to ask for it. Or just don't know where to turn to.

I am glad you bring attention to this. Always a concern for me because I have lost more of my brothers and sisters in arms to suicide than were lost to combat and its truly sad for that to ve a truthful fact.

Thank you for addressing this I wish more people did and what a lot of people don’t usually think about when they entertain this idea is the ones they leave behind. I have a cousin that was left behind. I think she is doing ok but it’s a constant worry

Absolutely agreed i am a veteran and as mentioned we lose 22 of our brothers and sisters each day to suicide... Mental health in America is in a sad state since in 1983 when the Regan administration under their Reagannomics plan totally cut off Federal funding for mental health hospitals turned it all to the states and so many states just at that point close or greatly reduced their facilities and services making it even much more harder for those who truly needed help to get that help plus the huge stigma Factor has not helped as well I know I speak from first hand experience it's only been up to recently due to the help of my family either actual or extended that I have been able to make strides on healing to where suicide is not on my mind every single day artists like you are amazing who helped bring awareness thank you

I think about it regularly. Some of your music is part of my go-to's on the really bad days. I am trying to get out of this funk, but it's hard.

My Dear Gurdians, did you know that in America:
12.2 million people seriously think about suicide
3.2 million people make a plan for suicide
1.2 million people attempt suicide
These numbers are far bigger than they should ever be…
As part of #mentalhealthawareness and #suicideprevention month we need to talk about the things that are hard.
Mental health is not an easy topic for a lot of you. I don’t want you to be one of these statistics. This community, my community of Gurdians, is a safe space. It’s here for each of you.
There’s 1 death cause by suicide every 11 minutes… Today let’s bring awareness and do everything we can to help bring this number down.
Join me today with the hashtag #suicideprevention to spread awareness
