Devon Church (formerly of Exitmusic) announces his second album with the "Ephemera" video. While Church’s previous group Exitmusic utilized widescreen atmospherics in service of tense dream pop, his solo endeavor places his earthy baritone front and center over world weary folk. He explains the new single is “a song about the fragility, weirdness and confusion of feeling like an isolated human being in the modern world, and about taking refuge - in love or god or interbeing or buddha or whatever you want to call it.” His wife Ada Roth provides backup vocals, and costume design for the unsettling video.
