2 Danny 2 Furious

hey guys
i've gotten a few dm's since posting yesterday's video letting me know that a word i said while reacting to a post on the subreddit is a derogatory word for transfemme people. If you're transfemme I apologize for saying that, and for my ignorance on the word in general. I understand that seeing a youtuber casually tossing around a word that could have been used in a derogatory way towards you was probably disappointing and hurtful. I've removed that section from the video so whenever YouTube processes that change, it will be gone.
on that same note, whenever i see a youtuber address something they've done that has hurt a group of people, i always see comments saying things to the effect of "why are they trying to CANCEL this guy!?" or "stop CENSORING everything" Let me just say that literally nobody was trying to cancel me. The dm's i got about this were so respectful and polite when they definitely didn't have to be. they were all pretty much just concerned gregs who wanted to make sure i knew what i had said. so if you were one of those that let me know, i appreciate you.
listen to trans people, please.

Dang dude, that's really decent of you. Being an ally to people in demographic you're not part of is a constant learning process. The fact that I can actually see you making progress on that publicly is really awesome, and it definitely makes me be proud to be Greg.

@misakimanjoume

Always so nice and refreshing to see someone own up and actually apologise. You listened to people's explanations and admitted you made a mistake, which is something not that many people can/would do - and that puts a smile on any Greg's face.

@brickends3155

This transcends Chad. This is 100% the right way to address a mistake. Truly Greg of you.

@ufolliegy

its honestly refreshing to see a creator actually willing to admit to their mistakes in a mature way. very appreciated.

@gianna526

This is how to do a proper YouTube apology. Fixing the mistake before apologizing, not making a 10 hour long youtube video, not trying to make the audience feel bad for calling out his mistake, apologizing only to the people who were hurt by the word, etc. Thank you so much Danny for caring so much about your fans.

Femboy is only derogatory when used in reference to a trans woman. The term is most commonly used to simply describe a boy who likes to dress in a feminine manner. However, that term is also only to be used when someone refers to themself as a femboy, not simply as a a catch-all for feminine men. Context matters, and the context you used it in was not derogatory.

I don't understand, isn't Danny supposed to be doing this without makeup, crying, on the floor next to a sofa?
