Jak Piggott

Let me be honest real quick:

I’m stuck for video ideas and I don’t wanna repeat all the things I’ve said before and all the stories I’ve told. I don’t really know where to take the channel from here on. You might say “just make what you want” but I don’t really know what I wanna make 😂

If you were in my position, what would you do? What type of videos would you want to see?

Hey Jak, I’d love to see more videos on stopping procrastination—maybe specific ones or compilations designed to psych us up for schoolwork, as long as it’s done in an original way! Also, if any new themes pop into your mind, I’d love to see those too. It would also be really cool if you did a sit-down video about your uni plans—what inspired you to pick your major? I’m 200% sure there are people still searching even though they should be narrowing things down by now. For me, I realized that out of the three careers I was considering, only one had solid evidence throughout my life—even when I wasn’t trying—and that’s teaching. It’s funny how some kids end up following their parents’ career paths, but out of a genuine love for it. The teen version of What Color is Your Parachute? really helped confirm that teaching is what I want to do. Also, I really enjoy your nostalgia gaming videos! I think you should do more of these, and I’d love to see you do more gaming sessions where you talk about the games you’re playing. I think this would be a great way to connect with your viewers and share your passion for nostalgia gaming. I know you're open to expanding your channel, but I honestly think focusing on nostalgia gaming for now would be best—it's what really sets your channel apart, and I think it’s what your viewers love the most. I hope you'll consider my suggestion! By the way, I really appreciate your videos, especially on balanced nostalgia and taking mindful pauses in our day. Your energy is such a rare mix of peaceful and inspiring, which is something to be super grateful for. As someone who wants to create content—maybe as a writer first before diving into YouTube—I was wondering: how do you stick things out in the early phases when your stats aren’t great? And how do you deal with impostor syndrome? I watched your video on perfectionism, and while I think overcoming that is fairly intuitive, having it intertwined with impostor syndrome makes things trickier. I’d really appreciate your input on that! Also, how have you been? I’m a 2006’er senior too, but I’m graduating in late June since that’s how things work in the Northern Hemisphere. I should have been in the previous cohort, but oh well!

1. Make videos to help teenagers. These days, many of them struggle to find friends and feel very lonely. 2. How to improve "consistency". Such as, following a schedule that you made to study for an upcoming exam etc.. 3. How to face strangers ( episodes of apprehension ) 4. Make a video on boredom. Because sometimes it's why we watch ( you know what). - I personally lack these things. I'm always bored, inconsistent, etc., I do have friends, but I'm in my room all day, getting bored, I never go out to play with them. Simply because I can't face people. With lots of love. I hope this is helpful.

I think the best value you can provide right now is doing daily or weekly recaps of the things that you preach, maybe some stories that stuck with you or real life scenarios you've been in. It makes you appear even more relatable, you get to make illustrayive points on what/what not to do while you go brainstorm on what direction you take this community in.

Honestly I don't mind watching videos over similar topics that you've already covered in previous videos, its always good to have that reminder.

@Djnvmofficial

You've already helped the younger generation a lot, and I really appreciate that. If you're looking for new ideas, how about doing something entertaining that also helps with social anxiety? Maybe try cold approaching girls or even doing pranks. You could also work on improving your communication skills by going on Omegle and asking people about their perspectives on different topics. There’s so much you could explore! And honestly, we wouldn’t mind if your channel changed a bit—experimentation can be fun. What do you think? and the biggestt fannnnnn, much love brother

I feel the same, best idea would be to I guess focus on your personal life, that’s what I’ve been doing and eventually you’ll figure out something.

Hey Jak, love your content! I saw you were looking for new ideas, so here are a few that might be interesting: 1) How to stay consistent even when motivation is low 2) Overcoming social anxiety and feeling more confident in conversations 3) Dealing with failure and building mental resilience 4) Learning to stop worrying about what others think 5) Trying a 30-day mindset challenge and sharing the experience. Hope this helps! Looking forward to your next video.

I personally love watching people seek discomfort. I’d love to see ice plunges, sunrise walks, running goals being kicked out of the park, skydiving, doing other things that scare you, and showing us your raw fear. I just find people who seek discomfort so inspiring!!

Hey Jak, I love watching your videos, no matter what they may be. If there is something that I’d like to see, it’s your routine or your day to day. I’d love to see how you deal with procrastination and getting into the right work flow, all while managing your studies and relaxation.

@daquaviousonfroy

hey jak, the best thing about your style of content is how genuine you are especially when it comes to lending advice on topics you have personal experience with. Whatever you choose to talk about in future, always prioritise expressing your genuine and authentic self over pandering to strangers on the internet.
