I'm from uptown Bronx. I went to Sousa Jr high school and I am agreeing with Cholly Rock about Dj Phase. Dj Phase is a LIAR. He was not djing at the beginning of Hip Hop. I went to school with him in Sousa Jr high . His real name is Alphonso but we all called him Boobie. Phase was not down with Mario and Chuck Chuck City Crew. I been to 123 Park jams and the school jams and Phase was not there on the ones and twos . Dj Phase is an imposter. I'm older than Phase. He would have been 7 years old in 1971.. no way in hell he was djing and doing graffiti. He is also not the original Phase the original Phase is Phase 2 who did graffiti. I seen Zulu King Cholly Rock break dancing in 74, 75 and at T Connection and Bronx River.
