Daniel Naroditsky

An update on the Jobava London course: In response to the excellent feedback we have received since the course's release, Sasha and I have worked hard to make several changes to the course. Those who have purchased the course have free access to the updated version - simply download the files from the course page. A summary of the revisions:
1) Each file has been updated with significantly more textual explanation; we estimate that the new files contain 10x the amount of text than the previous ones. We have attempted to much more carefully explain typical plans, ideas behind every important move, etc. We hope you find the new files easier to work with and more understandable.
2) We have cleaned up some typos and wrong evaluations, and added several new lines that we have faced in blitz games over the past few days.
3) We have added a README.txt file with detailed instructions on downloading, parsing, and working with PGN files;
4) We have also added a database containing the eight most common ideas for White, with a detailed explanation and an example accompanying each one.

Thanks a million to those who have purchased the course, and to those who have offered thoughtful and respectful feedback. I am beyond privileged to have a community that is this supportive and wholesome. Once again, those who have purchased the course can download the new files for free at the course page: danielnaroditsky1.podia.com/bortnyk-and-naroditsky…

We hope you find the revisions to be helpful. Thank you!!

@tyson.johnson

Good on you for updating it instead of moving onto a new project and leaving it behind! Hope you're doing well Danya, have a good weekend!

Awesome. It was really good to read your explanation on reddit, too. I have been doing some new creative ventures lately, and Version 1.0 of anything is always a big learning experience. This is normal and it is great that you took the lessons to heart. Your future courses will be even better for it.

Wow, that's an incredible level of timely customer service. Thanks for taking the concerns and suggestions to heart. I was holding off on purchasing because I was hoping for more useful text/explanations. Definitely gonna purchase now to support your efforts!

These sound like great improvements. Perhaps for the next time an early-bird discount could be offered / have a limited release to Twitch subscribers could help?
