You notice a mistake in a YouTube video you’re watching. The best move is -

Well let’s be honest… it’s not a real quiz. You’re making a statement disguised as a quiz. But… you’re 100% right on!! So irritating when the same point gets made multiple times. Anyway, I love your postings please keep them coming! For me, you capture the full “left brain + right brain” of music, which is why I thrive on it so.

@barbermot

Write 6 pages explaining the problem in detail regardless of the fact that the Creator is 10x the musician.

That's fine Aimee but it all depends on how many comments there are. If there are loads, then I'm certainly not going to scan through them all. I don't think many others would either. You could have a third option "Assume someone has already highlighted the error".

Enjoy the free content and do neither

Ahhh no worries Aimee, you’re always just a half step from a mistake sounding perfect!

Neither, 'cause no one reads the comments, but comment to bump the algorithm anyway

I write a comment accusing them of engagement farming by purposely adding wrong details to encourage comments correcting the mistake. TBH, I actually caught a mistake in Levi Mclain's recent video, but I didn't mention it or check the comments for other mentions of it... and then half a day later I saw a notice that he reuploaded the video because of the error! I originally had thought of it as "anyone who understands that terminogy will recognize the error as a brain-fart typo type of mistake", and not worry about it. And most viewers wouldn't even notice. As, I'm pretty sure I saw your entire previous video, and didn't notice that there even was a mistake.

What if the "mistake" is actually a #9 chord?

@bryanforeman4144

You ask if that is what they meant to say, and then wait politely for a response.

Hey it’s actually “a YouTube video YOUR watching”. Hope this helps 😂

Note the error. Then explain your WIFE caught it and you're just the messenger. Always works for ME !! (Oh, I SEE. There's a right and a wrong answer !! I assumed there'd be percentages. MY MISTAKE ! hehehehehe)

Comment first, then check all the other comments to prove I'm right and dunk on defenders. It is morally correct to dogpile someone over a tiny mistake, and I am clearly the most enlightened

@Josh_Fredman

I'll usually scan the comments first. But I would only point out a major mistake, like recently when a video (from someone else) was uploaded with no audio in the right channel, and no one else had appeared to mention it.
