Ed's Auto Reviews

Hi all!

Ever wondered what Donald Duck's daily driver is? Well, you do now, and so did I! So, tomorrow I'll tell you a thing or two about the famous red hot 313 roadster! There is actually a lot more to it than one might think...

The Dutch Donald Duck magazine always says it's a "Duckatti" ;-)

I wasn't the only one who expected an American Bantam! One of few American car companies that built city cars (kinda?).in America ;)

To be fair, my first favourite car. And still is to this day.

Donald trades his car in the Volcano Valley comic and we kinda get some in-universe info. If I remember right, it has a Dudgewell engine and "wheels off of a lawn mower" But I think that car was yellow (in the US Gladstone reprint) so it might have been a different car. Sadly, I don't have that comic in own collection yet, so I can't check.

Can the next one be about the history of the t-birds, it'd be very much appreciated

@tcrweeks

An interesting coincidence is that 313, which apparently refers to Donald's birthday of 3/13, is also the area code for Detroit, the Motor City.
