I staff my cases and paperwork goals with my supervisor and trusted coworkers. Their support, suggestions, and getting out of my head are extremely helpful. Regulating and self-acceptance are also good processes. Knowing my brain does not function the same, and I need to do things differently than my coworkers helps me to lessen the comparisons that can happen automatically. I personally love the pomodoro technique apps and body doubling, so I can use safe accountability as a way to not worry about when I'll get something done and not having the time and all that.

Doing a small easy or preferred task to help build a sense of success or achievement can help get the momentum going to then tackle harder tasks. Or saving something you like doing for after the harder tasks can be an incentive/reward. Mindfulness practices help calm me down if I can catch anxiety early enough.

I married someone who is able to bring enough home to get us through. (Also I manage the kids, and everything, and am very good in thrifting clothes and mending and saving us money, whaa, I feel guilty). In my past I worked as a cleaner. I have studied, I have skills, but I have crippling anxiety when it comes to work

It is important, never to avoid situations, that make me anxious, because it would increase the fear.

While I appreciate everything I've learned from this channel seeing a post like this makes me think - perhaps it's not for me. So just in case - I check the previous post... Oh girls and women. 😕 Please don't create the division by focusing exclusively on either gender
