these comments on here are rly weird from an outside perspective. it’s like you guys hate her for everything that transpired, but you simultaneously won’t let her move on from it. it’s extremely bizarre, it’s just like at what stage is the spectacle over exactly? i believe ‘i sold my soul’ is a song title, so what prompts the comments? i’m not coming from a place of a fan(namely bc i’m not a fan of anyone/just don’t value the concept of idolising other people, mind you), but i only make that distinction because i would prefer that my words aren’t detracted from/dismissed as star-crossed by anyone that may see this and might reconsider adding to the pile, not particularly bc there’s anything wrong w/ her fans/being a fan—i’m coming from a place of having just seen random harassment for no reason essentially. like, to what end exactly? it’s fucking bizarre man. it’s one thing for a public figure to have some negative comments sprinkled in(some people are weird ig.), but an innocuous post with exclusively negative comments is just looking worse than any comment section i’ve seen in a rly long time, i’ve got to be honest! i guess i just don’t understand what’s going on here exactly, in a case where we’ve seen a ‘guilty’ verdict in the court of public opinion, whatever, how people can’t feel themselves slipping into an aggressor role as an individual as they harass someone way after the fact, is something i don’t get. when are we going to figure out the boundaries in terms of the other side of ‘cancelling’ someone? terms? severities? variations based on offence? regard for mental health or the humanity of the person? are they banished forever, sentenced to living out their days being figuratively spat at in the streets for having fights with friends or what, like we need to discuss that portion of the culture if this industry is ever actually going to have any sort of longevity, if it even needs to exist in the first place. bc right now, the public sentence for rapists and personal disagreements is essentially the same. (!!) i can’t believe i have to verbalise it, but harassing someone forever is 100% not an acceptable cure all for all public mishaps, this is fucking shambolic??

Joking about that will only bring stress bc you know the trolls hurt your heart. Why even do that to yourself. FYI folks you can't sell your soul, believe it or not no entities want it and can't do anything with it. You can however condemn yourself to a life of misery with your thoughts words and actions.

This is the beginning of what is going to be a very sad story. Nothing good comes of “Selling your soul.” Honestly am terrified for you. Sad.

There’s a 1% chance that she will see this comment but hear me out. A lot of people go into the world of fame because it started out as a dream but let me tell you. It ends as a nightmare for a lot of them. It might have been a good idea or a good laugh at the moment Gabbie to have sold your soul but you will see it will bit you at then end. Fame, beauty, money only last for a moment. So why sell yourself out for temporary things? When all of the fame, beauty, and money goes away, where will you retreat if you don’t even have yourself? Nothing is worth selling yourself.
