ADHD Chatter Podcast

I’ve hugged 20 people so far this week, each person with tears in their eyes.

As I journey through neurodiversity celebration week, as I take the stage 14 times in schools and businesses, relentlessly raising ADHD awareness, I see similarities in the people I’m speaking with.

They’re emotional because they finally feel seen, finally feel heard after years of feeling misunderstood.

Years of being called ‘too sensitive’ or ‘too much’ by people in their life that simply don’t ‘get it’.

Years of feeling broken and feeling different.

One of the best things about being an ADHD spokesperson is witnessing the moment people finally realise that they were never broken, simply different, that they have incredible strengths and that they have always been enough.

It’s a true privilege to witness the celebration in front of my eyes.
