I have been using windows since I was 8 years old. I am 40 now. I recently switched to a gaming laptop to DJ, and it hasn't failed me.

Anything related to music, Apple is the go-to. I had too much random crashes with Windows.. Never happened with a Mac.

As long as your set up is stable, it doesn’t matter what platform you use

I own 2 macbooks 1 air 1 pro and they probably work great. The problem is I had my windows laptop for alot of years. All my music is on my computer, so at some point, I will switch, but for now, my HP has never let me down. This might be over 10 years. It had high specs so now its just good enough to get by. All I use it for is Djing nothing else.

I'd like it if Linux became a viable alternative for DJing. Due to being able to be made more stable than windows/macOS. EngineOS and pioneer products basically run on Linux. Yes there is Mixxx, but the truth is it's not professional grade. Also controller support even if they work hard at, it's not perfect due to no first party integration. Kind of like what Blender has become, professional studies being able use it thanks to it's stable and professional features.

I used a Windows gaming pc, just ordered a m3 air. Excited to see how it performs, it was about time cause the pc was literally dying and I already have all the other Apple gismos so I've already sold my soul😂

Just got the brand new Legion Gen 7. It was extremely overkill but so worth it. I've never really liked MacBook, im much more comfortable with Windows.
