AI isn't a substitute for any skill. If you use it that way, you will get horrible results. Accidentally ask AI for working spaghetti code, you'll get it. It's a godsend for gui and boilerplate code though.

This is why whenever I'm stuck on a problem and can't find a solution through searching, I just tell the Ai my problem and tell it to just give me a hint. Usually I'm able to solve the problem on my own from there.

Do you think okay to tell an ai to make a game with purposely added issues for you to fix for the sake of debugging practices?

Game Dev for Noobs
AI can fix your code.
But if you don’t know why it works now, you didn’t really learn anything.
It’s like copying answers in math class.
You might pass the test…
but you won’t pass the next one.
If you just nod and move on,
you’re training yourself to stop thinking.
And every time you do that, your debugging skills take a hit.
So here’s the rule:
Don’t settle for just 'it works'.
Push for the explanation - like your skills depend on it.
Because they do.
