Horses

do you (or does someone you know) have extensive experience shark hunting/shark fishing in the Florida/Keys/Caribbean area? If so, e-mail me: contact@horses.land.

@Er1k.161

this is the type of stuff Hemingway probably asked anyone 5 minutes into a convo; and then he'd ramble on about big fish for the next twenty minutes haha

there’s a joke in here somewhere about leading a horse to water but you’re not getting it out of me

I asked my dad, who's a Marine biologist in the Caribbean. He said he doesn't have "extensive" experience with shark fishing and that he is "wary of internet contacts he doesn't know". I just thought it'd be cool if he was credited in your video lol

I watched Jaws in a bar last night. The sound was off but I think I got the gist of it.

Marlin, yes, but I don’t remember us ever explicitly fishing for sharks. Rarely they’d get on the line though. It always seemed like shark fishing was a tourist thing.

Finally, a Hunter S. Thompson video is on the way.

I have extensive experience swimming with sharks in the Keys and Gulf of Mexico. And strong general knowledge of Florida shark species and that whole area geographically, if that could be helpful. I usually left the big catch fishing up to others, but in some places you’ll catch a shark without even meaning to.

I went tagging hammerhead sharks off of florida for 3 weeks, was a very cool and fun time. I don't hunt or fish sharks though. I worked as part of shark conservation. The largest fish I've hunted was mahi mahi, i speared a sucker that damn near ripped my arm off

hi so this is maybe weird to say but if you are planning on going shark fishing, please do not. they are extremely endangered and get killed in mass amounts every year for trophy fishing and shark fin soup. i'd just suggest looking at more available deep sea catches and try for those instead of sharks!!!!!
