I think patch notes being dropped 1 week before a patch goes live needs to be normalized. Even 2 weeks. I'm just so sick of devs releasing patch notes only as soon as the patch drops

They probably did this because they want to soften the amount backlash they're already getting after the Tekken talk by releasing the patch notes afterward. I'm truly convinced we're gonna see some more system and character specific bs after breaking down the patch notes.

I am impatient and biased. I want it now. I don't have a good reason for them to release it later, though.

Why bother making post the devs couldn't care less about the feedback of the Tekken fan base

The know if they released them during the talk and we seen the bullshit we saw last night the game would die by season 2

Yeah it's over. I'm just gonna launch this game a couple times to do 70+ dmg with my unreactable low as dvj and shelf this thing. I love tekken but tekken 8 isn't the same tekken i fell in love with

Tekken has been uninstalled for a few months now, and these news sure will keep it that way for longer

I think it’s time to finally admit the prestigious days of tekken being a hardened fighting game is over and we have to usher in the new era of streamlined game play which is sad for veterans but enticing for new comers which is the audience namco is trying to bring in let’s see how it pans out

Having the shiny new patch to play at the same time as the notes lessens the negativity. Look at the doom and negativity about the few changes they've mentioned already, it would be such a bad week on social media if they released them prior to the patch.

Should they have released the season 2 patch notes during the Tekken talk, or is it smarter to release them with the update?
