iPhone 16 Pro (iOS 26.0.1) user here, battery life is horrible, idle battery drain is so high, losing 15-20 percent overnight. UI feels smooth but heating has been a big issue, using camera makes the iPhone very hot. Already did a clean install using iTunes, it has solved nothing. Totally disappointed with iOS 26.

I’m on iOS 26.0.1 with my 15 Pro. Battery life has been completely awful daily and also the battery itself went from 91% to 88% extremely quick. Wish I just kept the 18.7 😢

I have a 14 Plus on iOS 26.0.1 and I’ve been very impressed and actually to a degree in love with this new update. I initially didn’t update because of all the bugs and glitches I’d heard about, but now that I have it on the latest version, I’ve seen no real issues that stand out. In terms of battery life, it’s about what I was already getting considering my capacity is at around 86%. I do plan on upgrading sometime this month to the Air

Hi —ios26 is worst ios update ever. Ip15pro max lags alot and taking too long time to process small taks. Unlocking phone looks laggy. Over heating issue Battery drains too much in ideal conditions and normal use. How soon apple will release its next update 26.1 to fix all those issues. If they continue to give this laggy UI just to sale their new iphone line. Sorry we have to look for other OS. Fingir crossed 🤞

It’s been 4 days ago since I installed iOS 26.0.1 on my iPhone 12 Pro Max. Everything has remained fine. Battery life and battery health have remained excellent.(the original battery was replaced about 9 months ago) Browsing is unusually buttery smooth, apps open and close without any latency. Network connectivity is fine, no dropped calls. No Bluetooth connection issues with my AirPods Pro 2. No overheating issues during charging or installation of iOS 26.0.1.

iOS 26.0.1 on 15PM. Battery life has become much worse on this version compared to 26.0 My phone is also overheating from time to time. Today i was literally just editing and choosing a lock screen wallpaper and my phone was crazy hot. It was more or less the same temp as when I record 4K video

When I went to Apple Store to replace my iPhone 14 Pro battery I was told to wait for 26.3 ! Too many bugs . I am extremely satisfied with iOS 18.7.1 and will avoid 26 for a few months .

I’m using an iPhone 13. I was absolutely fine on iOS 26 — even better than I could have imagined. But after updating to 26.0.1, all the connectivity issues they claimed this update would fix (and that I never had before) are now messing up my phone.

I updated from 18.7 to 26.01 on 16 pro and my battery took a major hit. Phone is constantly hot and battery draining pretty fast. Wish I could downgrade.

I’m glad I stayed on 26.0.1 it’s doing much better than iOS 26 when it came out in September battery life has it days, sometimes I get good on screen time between 7 to 10 and other times 5 to 7 Hours just depends looking forward to IOS 26.0.2 😊😊😊

My wife and I have 15 Pro Maxes that are on 18.7.1. Most of the issues are fixed now. I'm still having issues with a browser window closing out without any notice. She's still having screen freezing issues which she can't swipe back and forth on her screen, and she has to restart her phone to get anything to work.

One bug I noticed is that when you block a contact and you try unblocking it, it reverts to being blocked again. Hence any blocked contact remains blocked until a fix comes up

Surprising how smooth iOS 26.1 beta is than the iOS 26 public release. Battery life is better too. Enjoying it so far. Hope it stays that way.

iOS 26.0.1 has been out a few days and iOS 26.1 Beta 1 has been out over a week. iOS 18.7 is also out as well. How have they been for you? Are the updates better than the previous ones or do you have more bugs or issues? Also, how is battery life?
