Afghan women and children are suffering...

And I want to do something about it.

Does anyone know any Afghan single mothers or widows that are in need? Does anyone know about any charities that are reputable where the money directly benefits the women and children? I am exploring some ideas here, and if anyone is familiar with how money transfer works over there, or how I can directly help, please leave a comment below.

I was shocked to see a 2 year old Somali girl with the Hijab on in London . What a horrendous future this poor sweet child has. No doubt at the age of 14 - 15 will be taken out of school and sent to Somalia to marry an older cousin. We tolerate so much child and women abuse in the United Kingdom .

This picture made me realize the impact the burka has on children. I’ve always viewed it as horrific for women, but a baby never seeing a face does lifelong damage and impairs the child emotionally and socially.

I know some midwives who were there last year with Doctors Without Borders who were trying to do prenatal and postnatal care, but it was very tough

Apparently Afghanistan woman are not allowed to receive medical care. My daughter this year needed knee surgery so she could walk again she then needed a steroid shot and anti biotics for pneumonia. These male doctors saved her life!!!! It’s horrifying to know that if she lived in Afghanistan she would be denied this care and she would have died from lack of treatment. 😢 this is all horrifying

@Zoyawarrior

Muslims silent on this because it's Muslims making them suffer.

People are scared of helping these beautiful people because they turn around and ask for the same system that makes them suffer.

What’s really sad is that there are now a couple generations of females who didn’t experience actual freedom and education before the Taliban took over. It’ll become harder for them to ever have a normal point of view because they don’t remember it ever being different.

Sadly, money only goes to the men in Afghanistan now, and charities have to tread carefully in case they are perceived as haram, encouraging apostasy or blasphemous.

Glenn Beck and David Barton have a non outfit organization that was active in assisting Afghanis during and after the pull out from Afghanistan. They had and may still have contacts on the ground there. I don't know if they are currently doing anything over there, but if they aren't, they may be able to direct you to someone who is. The name of the organization is The Nazarene Fund. Wishing you the best.

Islam made the Afghan population complacent or passive. They had liberty and did nothing when the Taliban encroached. Look at Ukraine's response when invaded. Helping Afghanistan is a paradox.

The Barnabas fund is a responsible organisation, sending aid to Christians. Tear fund supports widows and young mothers by giving their products a market.

I’m from Afghanistan but now living in KPK, Pakistan. My family is still in Afghanistan, and since the earthquake and Taliban internet shutdown, I’ve lost all contact with them. There’s no safe way to send money right now, so I plan to visit and help them directly. Many Afghan women and families are really suffering because money transfers aren’t working anymore.
