I hear you. I, too, lost my mother between Chains are Broken and this. Many of these songs are relatable to me. Thank you for this fantastic album

Pete, your music has been a part of my life for the last couple years during good and bad. You are one of my favorite artists, and I feel that seeing devil makes three in Vegas was the best day of my life so far. It was such a good time seeing your band with my best friend, I loved it! Sorry for your loss, my prayers are with you, man.

Your show on 3/2 at the mcdonald theatre in Eugene was awesome. My two favorite bands playing together in the devil makes three amd the bridge city sinners.

The Devil Makes Three
Our album ‘Spirits’ is out now.
After 7 years in the making we are so proud to be releasing our new album ‘Spirits’. The recording was long delayed by the unexpected break from the road due to the pandemic. The one positive during that forced break was the gift of time to work on new material. ‘Spirits’ is an album about loss and grief. Unfortunately, I lost three influential people in my life since our last album release. Music has always been a way for me to process grief and sadness. All the musicians that have inspired me over the years, from blues and folk to punk have always helped to transform death, loss and depression into motivation to keep moving forward no matter what the circumstances may be. This record is dedicated to the memories of my mother Pamela Ciampi, my older brother, Zak Godwin and my best childhood friend, Jonus Emanuel Fricke. May they all rest in peace.
