As someone who is usually very against AI usage (specifically in artistic forms), this is EXACTLY what it SHOULD be used for! It’s not replacing people, but HELPING them! I remember being a bit hesitant at first, but seeing how much passion and care goes into yallbot and seeing how helpful it has become, even though it’s not perfect, is exactly why it’s necessary. AI should be used as a tool to guide us, sorting through information faster than any human can, and letting us interpret that data to save lives. We love Yall Bot here!

I missed whatever has happened but you are the most caring, compassionate person in the weather world today. You are open and honest about everything you do and yes we give you grief about not being able to pronounce town names but what did you do, you made something to remember the correct way to pronounce the names. I know it takes a huge team to do what you do on a daily basis. You use AI as a tool to help you get out the most accurate weather forecast and that’s how it should be used. You see a problem or try and make something better by figuring it out yourself. You taught yourself to code to fix a problem that you didn’t have a solution to. I have watched you from the beginning and trust your forecast more than our local weatherman. You keep doing what you do to make the weather world better and forget the naysayers who are not worth listening to. They pick on you because you are successful at what you are doing and you are capable of doing so much more. And to think I have a front row seat to watch it unfold. Look, between Hall Enterprises and Y'all Squad, we've built up a solid team of full-time employees and contractors working across weather, tech, media, and disaster relief work.
I've seen some people assume that because I'm into AI, I'm using it to avoid hiring. It's actually the opposite, we employ more people and carry the biggest payroll in the weather creator space, by a lot.
AI is just a tool that helps a team work more efficiently. At the end of the day, it's real people doing the real work.
