Race day at Cherokee yesterday was AWESOME! 33 cars showed up for 26 spots in hopes of $10,000, including ROSS CHASTAIN! I even got a picture with the Melon Man! In the end, he missed the feature, but it might've been for the better anyway. There were multiple red flag crashes, including a flip on the backstretch, causing the race to finish with about 11 cars running. In the end, tires, wrecks, and risk taking got Ross Bailes the win over Trent Ivey & a hard-charging Jeff Smith. All in all, great day with a chaotic race.
