Imagine criticizing a character for this stupid reason 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
Serena cutting her hair wasn’t “drama” it was character development. In anime (and many cultures also), a haircut symbolizes change, growth, and a fresh/new start. Serena wasn’t throwing a tantrum because she lose once. She was reflecting on her performance, realizing she needed to grow, and making a symbolic choice to show her determination.
Those fools are even comparing serena with Ash (to thier rear) 🤦🏻♀️👇 Ash and Serena are different characters with different personalities. Ash has always handled losses with full determination he gets fired up and keeps training. It's his style. On the other hand serena, is more sensitive and expressive. Her haircut wasn’t supposed to copy Ash or anyone else it was her own way of showing growth.
Also, in anime and storytelling haircuts often symbolize a turning point or a new chapter. Ash doesn’t need that symbol because his growth is shown in other ways (like his battling spirit and mind-blowing strategies). But for Serena, cutting her hair was a perfect way to show visually and emotionally that she’s changing and won’t stay the same passive girl from earlier episodes.
So comparing them doesn’t really make sense Ash and Serena deal with failure differently, and that’s exactly what makes them unique.
Like, Misty who kept chasing Ash for her bicycle and yelling at him, wasn't drama? 👁️👄👁️? If she actually want her bicycle she had soo many ways to get it, but nah Imma gonna do drama (pathetic and illogical af).
