"...This policy shift was motivated by concerns over unfair competition from foreign e-commerce giants (e.g., Shein, Temu, and AliExpress), which exploited the de minimis loophole to flood the US market with cheap goods, undercutting American small businesses. However, it has ripple effects on everyone, including independent artists like Martin Stürtzer. Postal services such as Deutsche Post and DHL responded by temporarily suspending commercial parcel shipments to the US via their standard postal networks, citing unresolved issues with duty collection, data requirements for US Customs and Border Protection, and the shift from simple postal clearance to more complex (and costly) commercial customs processes. Similar halts occurred with other providers like Royal Mail, leading to widespread disruptions and price hikes." (Grok) I listen to your music all the time and buy albums, including yours, on bandcamp regularly because I believe artists deserve money for their work and monetary incentives motivate artists to make more art. I'm a conservative. There's a lot more to American policy than just cracking down on antifa. America has some serious fiscal problems it needs to address, and a large part of that is increasing domestic production. In statistics, the problem facing shipping costs here is called a "false positive". It's nothing personal to international ambient artists, but it is a side effect of trying to fix any exploitations of international trade.

It works the other way also I was interested in a musician’s merch based on the US but it’s going to be twice the cost of the order for shipping. Order cancelled obviously.

The fascists in America, that are causing the problems, are terrified of the Ambient Antifa spreading calm, loving vibes. They needed to take drastic steps!

CDs are so delicate, you can buy a shrink wrapped CD from the 90's, open it for the first time and it will somehow be all scratched up. CDs and DVDs were the worst data storage in the history of it.

Does bandcamp produce the CDs and Vinyls? I’m not sure how this whole thing works but I think it’s neat.

Shipping to the USA is possible again. The cost of shipping a CD used to be €3.50, and is now €37.37. I hope your country is now safe from the Ambient Antifa.
