I bought a fojill because I knew it would come with a roasted neck, stainless frets, and a real bone nut... It also came with a bowed neck, stripped threads, and a trem that looked like it was put in by a 4 year old. I only bought it because I have some basic luthier tools and can fix those issues. It took a few hours, but it plays and sounds great. Costs about a 1/3 of a nice Squier and plays better than my old Mexican Fender. It's a great deal of a guitar IF you can fix basic things on your own.

When I look at "relics" I don't think old, just "what the heck did you do to that thing?".

I like relic guitars. I just dont like buying a guitar without feeling the neck....can't be too thick.

I like the Black the best but $199 vs the $159 of the red and seafoam green

I have a flojil strat. Nothing bad to say about it. Very budget, yet playable.

Looked at it on the link you provided. They relic'd the Hell outta it, but left the headstock pristine. Seems a little off.

I have 4 fojill guitars. On par with epiphone inspired by collection. The strat and tele types are just below classic vibe levels. Minimal setup in my experience

I see lots of good things online and in the comments here. I just can't get into the whole relic vibe. I'm so careful to keep my guitars from any damage... heck, I wash my hands right before I play and keep a polishing cloth in each case to keep fingerprints off. 🙄
