To be honest: having the bell activated as a subscriber is just dumb. I watch videos when I want to and not when YouTube or a creator is demanding I should do it. 🤷♂️ No video is so important that I have to watch it immediately - for that kind of information we have an emergency information system and public sirens. No offense

I am subscribed to this channel but I have muted all notifications from yt app long ago. So, no problem.

Interesting. I have notifications turned on, but I didn't get notified of the videos you unprivate, though I watched one and wondered what happened to your beard, unlike I realized it was an old video. Shame about the ppl that unsubbed, it's their loss.

If they left from such a trivial problem, they weren’t fans of your channel to begin with

Learned something new today... if you make an old stream public for the fun of people finding them be sure to go into each one manually and tell it not to notify subscribers. ⚠️
I neglected to do that, so I accidentally sent out 16 notifications to everyone who rang the bell (sorry!) and about 150 people unsubscribed from it. 🤦♂️
I have since privated all of them again hoping that removes the notifications for everyone else but I guess we'll see. Unfortunate way to learn a lesson. Sorry!
