My Siamese named Tut has a sensitive system as well, and he gets watery eyes during the spring pollen season. Since Tut does not appreciate eye drops, disappears when he hears his pill bottle rattle, and can eat around the tiny pill hidden in a piece of chicken or tuna, we’ve just let him have goopy eyes. Of course we asked the vet if it was okay if Tut didn’t get his meds, and they said it would cause no harm, other than him being a little uncomfortable.

俺はシャムだ。I am a Siamese cat.
I went to the vet again!!! This time I went by myself. (No Carrie) Why, you ask? Because my eyes started watering like crazy.
I changed my diet, had Mrs. T clean the apartment all the time, and tried to make it allergy-free, but nothing worked.
And the vet couldn’t even figure out what I’m allergic to. It’s such a bummer.
Anyway, they gave me these drops with boric acid. They sting and I hate them, but they do help clear up my eyes a bit.
So, to all my fellow Siamese cats out there, we might be tougher than other breeds, but some of us still get allergies like me.
So take care of yourself, alright? 😸
