A flex, a show of gratitude, and a show of character all in one go. Can't see many other creators doing the same here. Well done!

This is how you treat your fan base with respect and integrity. Echelon might be one of the last good ones out there, and for that, you’re cherished in my eyes

I will speak for myself, keep the money I donated, and keep it for next time because we all know there will be a next time .

There will be a much more thorough explanation in a dedicated video by the way, Randazza Legal Group represented the channel and they were extremely thorough with their documentation which makes my job much easier. However i wanted to get this announcement out before then since I have been recuperating over the holidays and multiple months of silence has passed since the series of events began. Thank you again to the community. Suggestions for how best to fulfill refunds are gladly accepted... setting up a framework to process everything safely and securely is now my top priority.

Idk how common this kind of crowdsourcing refund is, very uncommon in my experience, but it's a dope move either way. Power integrity move, bruv🔥

This is a beautiful example of the quality and integrity of Upper Echelon as a channel and of the individual(s) behind it. Bravo sir.

Stuff like this is why I love your channel. Sometimes I strongly disagree with your opinions or presentation of various things, but that strong sense of morals is just mwah, chef's kiss!

You continue to be one of the only people on YouTube I trust. Strength and success to you my friend, and bless your uncompromised values.

Looking forward to an update. But if this is who I think it is, it won't stop them. They will re-file or amend or appeal the decision. May want to wait a bit before finding out if there will be an appeal or a re-filing of the frivolous lawsuit by a vexatious litigant. They are the kind of person who does not accept "No" as an answer from anyone, even a judge.

I know there is more to be done, but hearing you say it's over and you are happy with the resolution is huge. Congratulations.

This is amazing news! So glad things worked out to your satisfaction. To such a degree that you're willing to kick back to the community that supported you. AWESOME!

Maybe offer the possibility to forward some of the money as a donation to a good organization for those who don't want to go through the process of getting refunded? Even if no one does it, you don't have anything to lose (except maybe less time trying to deal with refunds)

Time and time again you prove to be a person with a clear set of morals and personal integrity, I have nothing but respect for someone like you, congrats for everything.

Nice to hear, just wanted to say I watch pretty much every one of your videos even if I'm not interested in the topic. For two reasons..one I want to support your channel and two I find that I typically learn something and come away with new information that was clear and easy to grasp for my peanut brain..

This completely went past me. Dunno what the lawsuit is about but mad respect for refunding the people.

Perhaps asking the donors to pick either, refund, donation to charitable cause out of the political spectrum such as animal welfare or children or maintaining a "fighting fund" might be possible ?

Upper Echelon
THE LAWSUIT IS OVER
I am happy to announce that the previously discussed lawsuit this channel has faced is now concluded.
Short outline.
A little over 30 thousand dollars was raised by the community to help with a litigation issue and that issue has now been closed.
I am happy with the outcome, and will have a more in depth explanation of subsequent steps in the coming week.
I will provide a snapshot of the accounting numbers, but long story short, I have decided that Upper Echelon will be paying the full legal costs out of pocket, and not relying on the donated funds.
As a result, everyone who donated will be entitled to a FULL refund, which will be dispersed likely through paypal.
I am currently looking at solutions for disbursing the refunds, due to the length of time that has passed GoFundMe as a platform seems to be unable to facilitate the refund process themselves, which means I need to find a solution with enough volume, and low enough fees to make it possible off platform. Right now that list is short and paypal appears to be one of the only viable options.
Regardless, i will have more details on that this coming week, as well as a few more channel announcements.
Thank you to everyone who has supported the channel, I am honored and humbled to say the very least.
