It's a blast. The style of combat Stunlock Studios does so well added to a survival game makes for an awesome experience. The gameplay/progression loop is very satisfying

It's very new. It's an excellent survival game about being a vampire trying to gain back your power. But beware the random server deletion of your base after logging out. I lost about 10 hours to that.

Its a lot of fun, dont let people tell you its "Valhiem"-like when its better to compare it to Diablo. It has great combat and learning new vamp powers from roaming bosses and quest bosses is a lot of fun! I do love the day and night cycle gameplay and blood types. Exploration is ok, I think the map is beautiful and looks good, but its not super fun over all to explore when its basically Field A to Field B to Snow Field. A few caves to explore and camps are around the map itself to have to go through it. The main reason I would say its not like Valhiem and more like Diablo is its "survival" basically counts dont let your blood get low, which it almost never does and is kinda just a mana pool to replenish. The building is also 30x times worse. You wont see anywhere near the cool and awesome cities or buildings or even houses because the building is the basic of basic. Make 4 walls, a roof, a bed and your crafting benches and never think about it again after maybe applying a wallpaper or two and a few plants and mist things to liven up the place. You and your friends will basically just be picking which wallpapers you want to be using and then not use the one the others arnt so you dont all look the same haha.

Had it on my wishlist for a few weeks before it released. Was going to buy it day one but thankfully read a review saying that the promised solo offline play was straight up false advertising.
