Let’s be real. The victim didn’t file the lawsuit so she can move on with her life. That’s what you do after criminal proceedings. This is a civil lawsuit. The victim filed this lawsuit because she wanted money. Civil lawsuits are not about justice, they are about money.

You may not like how someone acts. They may be rude. They may have treated you poorly. But that doesn’t mean it rose to the level of a criminal act. And if it did, did the DA bring criminal charges in criminal court? If not, why? If they didn’t, they didn’t due to lack of evidence that would’ve brought about a verdict. That’s very telling in such cases. Criminal court requires beyond a reasonable doubt. And unanimously as well. But when you go civil, it’s just looking for financial damages, and its preponderance or majority vote. So not everyone has to agree, and it’s not about a crime per se. It’s a different measuring stick so to speak because nobody is being sent to prison they are only being asked to pay damages. Money. It’s a hollow victory even if you do win.

I am quite sure Cardi was told to be yourself. If you haven't been taught how to conduct yourself in a high esteem environment, this is what you get. Ijs no pund intended.

Law&Crime Trials
On Tuesday, the closing arguments began in the civil trial against rapper Cardi B. Attorneys for the plaintiff said that the cuts on the former security guard, Emani Ellis, could have only happened during the incident between the two. They also shared that Cardi B was disrespectful in the courtroom and that she can’t do whatever she wants just because she is a celebrity. They also stated that the "victim" filed this claim so she could move on with her life.
