Fallout has had several antagonists over the years, but what’s a certain type of antagonist that hasn’t been seen in the series yet that you would love to see being used? Whether it’s for a narrative purpose, an exploration of a certain philosophy not explored much of yet, or to act as an obstacle to the player in the game’s design.

What made the Frank Horgan character so interesting of an idea villain in Fallout 2? including the creative decisions behind the games development & ideas, and how the Enclave came to mind in the end?

What do they consider the most evil thing any of their villains have ever done? Congrats on the interview!!!

My question would be this. Which are the main ideas, people, countries and other historical elements that inspired you to design the philosophy of the Master and how did each example influence in it?

What recent villain or other property would work amazing in the fallout world?

If the protagonist of fallout did not stop the master, would he have succeeded in spreading supermutants across the west or would someone else have stopped him?

I'm a huge fan of Cain's work. I've always wondered where they saw Harold's story going past Fallout 2 and how it would have been different than what we saw in Bethesda's Fallout 3.

have three questions 1. who or what was the inspiration for Frank horrigan 2. what made you guys choose a 1950 scifi setting for the game 3. why was China picked for as the main adversary of America in the game

What was the one bit of content that didn’t make it in, or that you were really excited for in future games that didn’t happen, that you regret didn’t see the light of day? Also, which of your “good” characters would you like to see go full villain if they were ever revisited in later/spin off stories?

In the games, many villains see themselves as the hero of their own story. When designing them, did you focus more on making their motives relatable, or on how they challenge the player’s moral choices?

Vile question for Tim. What kind of books does one read to better create complex psychologies for his villains?

Not a question for Tim but a request for you, I really was wondering if you could do an analyzing evil video about mads mikkelsen's hannibal lecter, I know you have already covered the one from the movies and novel, but I find them to be very different, have a good day

Can Frank Horrigan do backflips and stuff like that? Having a 10 in A, agility, imples such a feat after all.

A rather basic interview question but one I find endlessly fascinating, what if anything would you tell yourself before/during the creation process?

The Vile Eye
Hey everyone I have something exciting to announce that I need your help with!
Very soon here I'm going to be conducting an interview with Tim Cain (@CainOnGames), one of the original creators of Fallout, Fallout 2, and many more beloved games! During the interview we'll be talking about evil and villains of course, but also Fallout and game development as well.
So what I'd like you all to do is comment on this post some questions you might have for Tim about video game villains, Fallout, or game development. To clarify, Tim only worked on Fallout and Fallout 2, no other entries in the series, so if you're looking to ask him about specific aspects of other games in the series, he probably won't be able to answer those. Obviously I won't be able to work in every question you guys ask here into the interview, but I will try my best to include as many of the top liked comments as I can (or the ones that I think are the best).
Also, just a little update on videos, there won't be one out today but there will be a double feature one of the weeks this month (it’s always been this way I swear) just so you know. I look forward to seeing what questions you all have for Tim!
