A year ago, my channel reached 100k subscribers. YouTube rewards authors with a signature award for reaching this number of subscribers on the channel, and it was my turn to get it.
I worked very hard to reach this figure and I was very happy with this achievement. I received a special code and applied for the award to please my audience as soon as possible. But that didn't happen…
Because of the w ar in my country, I found out that no one is getting this award now and I was very upset. But after a few months, I saw how other authors who, like me, reached the threshold of 100k subscribers received the award. Hooray! I saw in the news that this was now possible and immediately wrote to YouTube support to resolve this issue.
They politely confirmed that my channel was eligible for the award and sent me a link to the site to fill out the form. But as you can see in the photo, the site did not open. Tech support sent me a list of what could help solve the problem: Check your internet cable connection, refresh the page, clear cookies, try another browser, etc.
And I did all this, even tried from different devices, the site still did not open. I provided all the screenshots to tech support, to which I received a meaningless letter in which they promised to sort it out…
A year has passed since then. During this time, I sent more than 10 letters to technical support. I tried to write to them in 3 languages. But all we came to was: - Yes, this is strange, your channel is ready to receive an award. - But the site does not open. - Send a screenshot or video. - Sent. And they send a list of recommendations like (clear cookies and check your internet connection) like I’m a fu***ng bot..
Sorry guys for this post but I'm tired of trying. I really would like to have this award as a keepsake of many years of creating calisthenics content. But since I can't get it, I don't see any other option than to try when there are already a million of us. Love ❤️
