Guerrilla Miniature Games

ANGER OF THE DRAGON
BATTLETECH LEGENDARY BATTLES
GMG VS. CATALYST GAME LABS

During the last 96 hours of the Kickstarter on April 17 and 18, Ash Barker from Guerrilla Miniature Games - Ash Barker will take on the role of the Wolf’s Dragoons, facing off against Randall Bills from Catalyst Game Labs as he assumes the mantle of the Dragon. The battles will be livestreamed via Sixsidesofgaming on www.twitch.tv/sixsidesofgaming!

As part of the launch of the BattleTech: Mercenaries Kickstarter, Catalyst Game Labs livestreamed six different legendary mercenary battles from across the eras at Adepticon 2023:
Decision At Thunder Rift (Gray Death Legion)
Assault on Northwind (Northwind Highlanders)
Battle of Coventry (Eridani Light Horse)
Clash Over Arc-Royal (Kell Hounds)
Battle of Misery (Wolf’s Dragoons)
War with the Concordat (Hansen’s Roughriders)

If you missed that livestream, you can watch those great games on the Six Sides of Gaming YouTube channel (youtube.com/@SixSidesofGaming).

Now we’re taking those legendary battles to the next level. Following the Battle of Misery–covered in the seminal novel Wolves on the Border–the Wolf’s Dragoons took a contract with House Davion just as the Fourth Succession War launched. But the kindled anger of the Dragon was unleashed against the Dragoons, as Kuritan regiments poured onto Federated Suns’ worlds to exterminate the mercenaries that defied and shamed the Coordinator of the mighty Draconis Combine.

Ash and Randall will fight out six different battles, three under standard BattleTech rules and three using the Alpha Strike system. They will cover the first attempts by the Combine to ford the Jinxor River on Harrow’s Sun, through the battles on the worlds of Wapakoneta and Glenmora, and finally the climactic battle in the Tartarus Caldera on Crossing.
Will Ash hold firm against the Kuritan assault and remain true to history? Or will Randall tip the scales and eliminate the Dragoons, redeeming the Dragon’s Honor?

Join us on April 17 and April 18, starting at 10 a.m. EDT both days and continuing until the day’s battles are done!

I am going through the Alpha Strike play throughs (new to the game). I am liking what I see. I think that, overall, your variation with the multiple D12s seems to flow better than the 2D6 base game when rolling large numbers of them. Hoping to do some casual testing/tweaking with this later. Looking forward to watching these games :)

So, is this the big mystery youtuber that a certain 'armed painter' has been building and painting scenery for? That was suspiciously Davion themed too...
