Dr V, did you have the great COVID chick shortage over there?! We tried to get some and they were back ordered all year. And some were getting LOST in the mail- actual CHICKS. So we cancelled the order, we didnāt want any dying in the process of delivery.

There are a few different breeds of chickens that lay blue/ blue green eggs. Iāve got this one chicken that lays the most deep army green egg and I donāt know which chicken it is. My Araucanas did lay blue eggs but now they are mostly light bluish tinted white. Everyone should own chickens š

Ahh you have an easter egger! I remember my first one. I called it my $5,000 egg b/c it was literally my first one and I'd spent an obscene amount of money on chickens, coops, feed, more chickens when the young ones got picked off, more coops...more chickens b/c they have the best personalities and I fell in love with them. What's it called? Chicken math? Yeah. I sucked at it. Enjoy the egg!
